Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
We want Coffice to work for everyone — both the website and the space itself. Below is what we've done, what we know is missing, and how to tell us about a problem.
Conformance standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Current status is partial conformance: the site was built against these criteria but has not yet been audited by an independent party.
What we've done
Semantic HTML structure with real headings, landmarks and labels on every interactive control.
Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every link and button.
We respect your system's reduced-motion setting: when it's on, animated sections stop and the page renders static.
Alternative text on images that carry meaning, while decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
Colours and text sizes chosen for adequate contrast against the dark background.
Bilingual content with correct language declarations, so screen readers pronounce Greek and English properly.
Known limitations
Two sections (“The Space” and “What we serve”) use horizontal scrolling tied to page scroll. The content is keyboard reachable, but the experience is more demanding on small screens.
Social media links are still placeholders and do not lead anywhere.
[TO CONFIRM] We have not yet tested with screen readers across every browser and device combination.
Accessibility of the premises
[TO CONFIRM] Fill in the real details of the shop here: step-free entry or steps, doorway width, availability of an accessible toilet, wheelchair clearance between tables, lighting and noise levels.
If you need something specific to visit comfortably, email us beforehand and we'll sort it out.
Contact & feedback
If you hit a barrier, write to info@coffice-volos.gr describing the page and what you were trying to do.
We reply within five working days and fix whatever we can straight away.
